Melanin-Mixer

This is my final project for my graphic design class. This book was inspired by one of my dear friends(kingshoota) she is an aspiring poet. Me as a friend who is willing to help put forth others and worship their talents as they do mine; this is my debt to her. The programs i used was Adobe photoshop, illustrator and indesign. I had a lovely time digging into my archive photos and choosing images that help add to this book. The color scheme for this was a green and orange-yellow gradient with white pages and black and white images. To keep things very simplistic with a simple transparent. The font i used for the headlines are "Penguin Attack"it gives the white pages a pop. As for the texts itself there doubled spaced and centered with the font "minion pro". i used a quill pen as a master page element to remind the reader to keep your thoughts close and at the end of the book i left space for the readers to write something, an interactive book.

This picture was inspired by a simple nature walk. As your eyes are guided through the trail of dead leaves, take a moment to think of how far you have came. Also what your future has in store.

Shirt Prototype

This shirt is in recogniztion of Jamaica becoming an independent nation. 

Where Britain no longer controlled its affairs and now is under the control of Jamaica's new prime minister. The year was August 6th 1962.
